Citizens State Bank (Ouray)

Citizens State Bank is a community bank on Colorado's Western Slope. It was founded in Ouray in 1913, where its original two-story Main Street branch still operates, and it banks individuals, families and businesses across the region.

Commercial real estate financing is aimed at local business owners and investors: buying business property, refinancing an existing commercial property, and commercial land financing for an office, a retail location or another commercial use. The bank describes loan advisors who work through each step and build terms around the borrower rather than a published program.

Branches are in Ouray, Ridgway, Silverton, Naturita, Telluride, Mountain Village and Montrose, with a Durango location listed as opening in fall 2026. Business customers also get business checking and savings, business lending, home mortgage lending, IRAs, and a merchant card processing program with a local representative at each branch. The bank says it has always been locally owned and operated, and it is a Member FDIC.
