Arete Wealth is a family of financial companies in Chicago made up of a full-service broker-dealer, a registered investment adviser and an insurance agency. Its advisors work with investors on planning, investing and alternative investments.

The firm runs a managing broker-dealer business alongside its retail advisory practice and curates alternative and private placement offerings across sectors, selected through its own due diligence. A separate Art & Wine Advisory connects clients with specialist advisors on art, wine, collectibles and insurance; the firm believes it is the only program of its kind offered by a U.S. financial services firm.
