Wright's Transportation & Mobile Home Services

Wright's Transportation & Mobile Home Services LLC is a family-owned mobile home mover based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, serving the whole state including the Oklahoma City and Shawnee areas. Two generations of the family work in the business, which they describe as one company, one family, and one goal.

The company transports new and used manufactured and modular homes, whether the move is across a pasture or to another state, and handles set-up afterwards. Set-up means moving the halves together with equipment such as a house tug or platypus, aligning the home so each side is level and each end lines up, then setting it on blocks so the tires and wheels can be removed. The company argues for using one contractor from transport through installation so the job does not stall between parties and accountability stays in one place.

It says it is, as far as it knows, still the only company in Oklahoma that will install a mobile home with a hinge roof, and that it licenses the staff who work on site rather than only the owners, backed by a training program. Its equipment, including house cats, is described as suited to moving homes into difficult spaces with minimum wear. Free estimates are offered, and 24-hour emergency service is available.

Electrical, plumbing, and heating and air work are explicitly excluded from its services, so those hookups need a separate trade. Scheduling depends on weather, and the office keeps daytime hours with appointments available.
