WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems

WASH provides and manages shared laundry rooms for apartment communities, condominiums, campuses, and hospitality properties, and separately sells commercial laundry equipment to businesses that would rather own the machines.

Under the full-service arrangement WASH leases the laundry room, installs washers and dryers from brands including Maytag, Speed Queen, and LG with no upfront cost to the property, and takes on maintenance and repairs, typically within 24 to 48 hours, while the property receives a revenue stream. Residents pay through the WASH-Connect app in connected rooms, and managers get a client portal with real-time usage and performance data. The company presents cashless rooms as a way to cut service calls, vandalism, and theft.

WASH has been in multifamily laundry since 1947 and reports more than 1,300 team members across the United States and Canada, operating as Coinamatic in Canada and alongside Hercules, whose corporate office is in Hicksville, New York. Its corporate office is at 2200 195th St., Torrance, California, with branches in roughly two dozen US metros. Plants in Toronto, Grand Rapids, Hayward, and Torrance process more than 80,000 machines a year, including over 25,000 reconditioned units.
