Vanir provides program, project and construction management as an owner's representative, and also develops real estate. It stands on the owner's side of the table: planning, design oversight, procurement support, construction administration and closeout on capital programs large and small.

Program management work covers budget development and management, change order prevention and analysis, condition and needs assessments of existing buildings and systems, constructability reviews of plans and specifications, community engagement, capital asset scheduling, cash flow projections and funding applications. Construction management carries the same team through planning, design and construction, and a design-build and owner advisory group supports alternative delivery. A technical services group of licensed architects and engineers, estimators, schedulers, BIM specialists, certified inspectors and commissioning agents backs the project teams, including virtual design and construction coordination. The real estate arm handles acquisitions and leasing, in-house architecture, design and planning, property management and disposition.

The firm serves public and private clients across healthcare, justice and essential services, K-12 and higher education, state and local government, science and technology, transportation, water and wastewater, energy, and commercial, residential and hospitality property.
