US Inspect

US Inspect has delivered residential inspections since 1987 and says it has completed more than three million of them. It works with home buyers and sellers, and runs a separate line for business customers who own or manage property portfolios.

Alongside the standard home inspection it offers termite, radon gas, mold assessment, swimming pool, lawn sprinkler, well flow, septic, deck, infrared, sewer scope, and stucco and stone veneer inspections, the last currently available in the Philadelphia market. A pre-listing inspection lets a seller address issues before going to market, a re-inspection confirms previously identified issues were corrected in a workmanlike manner, and a Walk & Talk consultation is a verbal evaluation with no written report for a fraction of a full inspection. Buyers who do not need a full inspection can order one to five major components instead.

New construction is covered in phases, with foundation, pre-concealment and walkthrough inspections, plus a builder's warranty inspection that produces a punch list before the new home warranty expires.
