Loan servicers
Trimont
Trimont is a commercial real estate loan servicer and credit asset manager working for lenders, debt funds, and investment trusts. Established in 1988, it describes itself as the largest master servicer of commercial real estate loans in the United States, and is rated as a master, primary, special, and construction loan servicer by S&P Global, Fitch, Morningstar DBRS, and KBRA.
The platform covers the loan lifecycle. Master and primary servicing handle cash management, tax and insurance, investor reporting, and advancing. Credit and asset management provides outsourced middle-office work on both performing and non-performing credit, including workouts and special servicing, construction, condominium and land lending, NPL and REO business plans, covenant and debt service coverage monitoring, lease abstraction, and sponsor and collateral surveillance. Credit administration adds treasury, facility agency, and loan servicing, and a separate defeasance team handles advisory, structuring, and execution with a public quote calculator.
Trimont reports USD 800B+ in loans under management, more than 21,000 positions under management, 765 master serviced securitized trusts, USD 80B+ as named special servicer, USD 127B in active construction loans, and assets managed in 72 countries. Its head office is at 3560 Lenox Road in Atlanta, with further U.S. offices in Charlotte, Dallas, Overland Park, and New York, and international offices in London, Sydney, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
This is an institutional platform and engagements are portfolio-level, so a single loan or a small portfolio is unlikely to fit. Borrowers whose loan has been transferred to Trimont are directed to its Client Solutions Group rather than the corporate line.
Best for
