Trello is a board-and-card task tool from Atlassian. Work sits on boards split into lists, and each card can carry a checklist, due date, assignee, custom fields, attachments and comments, which is enough structure for a punch list or a unit turn without configuring anything.

Around the boards are an Inbox that captures to-dos from email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, a Planner that drops cards onto a calendar and syncs outside events, no-code automation built into every board, and Power-Ups that connect more than 200 apps including Slack, Google Drive and Salesforce. Paid tiers add Calendar, Timeline, Table, Dashboard and Map views, card mirroring across boards, workspace-level templates and AI features that draft checklists and assemble boards from a described goal.

Plans are per user. Free covers up to 10 collaborators and 10 boards per workspace with unlimited Power-Ups and 2-factor authentication. Standard is $5 per user per month billed annually, or $6 monthly. Premium is $10 ($12.50 monthly) and is the tier that unlocks the alternative views and admin controls. Enterprise is $17.50 per user per month billed annually, $210 per user a year, adding organisation-wide permissions and SSO through Atlassian Guard, itself a separate subscription starting at $4 per user per month.

Trello holds process, not records: there is no accounting, no lease data and no work-order history behind the cards, so it complements a property management system rather than replacing one. The customer statistics it cites come from its own TechValidate survey - 75% of organisations seeing value within 30 days, 81% choosing it for ease of use.
