Texas Manufactured Housing Association

Texas Manufactured Housing Association (TMHA) is the state trade association for the manufactured housing industry in Texas, based in Austin.

Its published work falls into three parts. Advocacy covers state, federal, and local matters, including tracking bills such as SB 785 and coordinating with Washington. Industry data covers retail sales of manufactured homes and retailer annual sales totals, average retail sales prices, manufacturer shipment and placement totals, Google search interest in mobile homes for sale, the Texas Manufactured Housing Survey, a manufactured home builders stock index, and producer price index commentary on wholesale and materials pricing built from Bureau of Labor Statistics series.

Member resources include guides and forms covering retail selling and operations and manufactured home community management, a TDHCA license holder list, and continuing education for license renewal. The association also publishes consumer-facing material, including why-buy explainers, a manufactured versus site-built cost comparison, and resources on manufactured home communities located in Texas. The office is at 4520 Spicewood Springs Rd, Suite 200, Austin.
