Investor portals & syndication
SyndicationPro (SponsorCloud)
SyndicationPro is the investor portal and capital-raising software now sold under the SponsorCloud name. Sponsors use it to run a raise end to end: an investor CRM with two-way email sync and a full relationship history, soft reservations for upcoming deals, a branded investor portal, digital private placement memoranda with integrated e-sign, and co-sponsor access on a deal.
After the raise, the same platform handles investment management. Waterfall structures are configured once with unlimited investor classes and then calculated automatically with an audit trail, distributions go out by ACH or check as one-off or recurring payments, and investor communications carry live per-investor performance figures such as NAV, IRR and equity multiple. K-1 delivery is tracked across the portfolio, with bulk upload matching documents by tax ID and investors requesting missing forms through the portal.
SponsorCloud also sells professional services around the software: fund administration, fund establishment and launch, disposition and waterfall administration, tax and K-1 preparation by in-house CPAs, cost segregation, and fund-of-funds support. SponsorDocs delivers a private placement memorandum, subscription agreement and investor questionnaire within two business days. The company says the business began in 2014 as a crowdfunding platform its founders built to fund their own acquisitions, opened the technology to outside sponsors in 2019, and now serves more than 1,000 fund managers with over $10B in investor capital.
Pricing is quoted per portfolio rather than published. The company says there are no setup costs and that onboarding, data migration and a dedicated customer success manager are included, which is worth confirming in writing.
Best for
Sponsors and fund managers raising from individual investors who want the portal, subscription documents, distributions and K-1 tracking in one system. Pricing is quoted, so a first-time small raise should ask for a number early.
