SSA National Fall Conference

The National Fall Conference & Trade Show is the Self Storage Association's September event. The 2026 edition runs September 8-11, 2026 at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The conference pairs education sessions with the association's largest trade show, and it carries several of SSA's annual fixtures: the Self Storage Hall of Fame awards ceremony is held during the Fall conference, and the SSA Foundation sponsors a general session speaker, the Foundation Forum, at both the Spring and Fall conferences. The Regional Supervision Program, a six-segment course for people who oversee more than one property and management team, is offered in a series the day before each of SSA's semi-annual conferences.

SSA itself is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization formed in 1975 under Section 501(c)(6), with a staff of 16 in Alexandria, Virginia. It is formally affiliated with 40 state associations and with 9 international organizations, lobbies for the industry before Congress and federal agencies, publishes the SSA Magazine and runs data, research and certification programs including the Certified Self Storage Manager designation. Its other events are the National Spring Conference, held in cities east of the Mississippi, the Valuation & Acquisition Course (October 5-7, 2026 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort in Denver) and the Executive Ski Workshop (January 11-14, 2027 at the Telluride Conference Center).

Registration, the hotel room block and rates are handled on the SSA site, and pricing generally differs for members and non-members. Check the current agenda and exhibitor deadlines there, since dates and venues change year to year.
