Remediation
Servpro
SERVPRO is a franchise network providing cleanup, restoration, and reconstruction after water, fire, storm, and mold damage. All services in the United States and Canada are performed by independently owned and operated franchises, dispatched through a national call center on (800) 737-8776 and available 24/7.
Residential and commercial work covers water extraction and drying after floods, leaks, and burst pipes, fire and smoke cleanup, storm response, mold remediation, air duct and HVAC cleaning, biohazard and crime scene cleaning, virus and pathogen cleaning, document restoration, ceiling, floor, and wall cleaning, and residential and commercial construction.
Commercial customers also get large loss response and an Emergency Ready Plan, across industries including retail, education, property management, healthcare, restaurants, and hotels. Franchise professionals are trained to IICRC standards, with ongoing training at an IICRC-approved training facility, and the network works with insurers on a restore-versus-replace approach, pretesting, itemized loss inventories, and vendor qualification compliance.
SERVPRO began in 1967 as a painting business in Sacramento, California, sold its first franchise in 1969, acquired the Bristol-Myers Domesticare division and its 175 franchises ten years later, and moved to the Nashville area in 1988. It relocated to a 140,000-square-foot facility in Gallatin, Tennessee in 2005, where it remains headquartered. In March 2019, investment firm Blackstone acquired a majority stake. The network now lists more than 2,400 locations. Because each location is independently owned, scheduling, standards, and pricing are set locally and should be confirmed with the franchise that responds.
