Asset-protection attorneys

Royal Legal Solutions

Royal Legal Solutions is a boutique law firm focused on protecting real estate investors' assets throughout the United States and Canada. Its stated position is that keeping wealth matters as much as making it, and that structures should be designed around how plaintiffs' attorneys actually litigate.

Structures offered include traditional LLCs, series LLCs, land trusts, Delaware statutory trusts and S corporations, together with anonymous trusts used to own the LLC or hold title so that the owner's name does not appear in state filings or public records. The firm also handles estate planning, Solo 401k and self-directed IRA setups, and tax services aimed at real estate investors and entrepreneurs, including the real estate professional designation and investor-versus-dealer classification. Legal work is paired with a membership community, the Royal Vault, which includes masterclasses, an ebook knowledgebase and access to staff.

The firm was founded in 2014 by a former litigator. It says it has built a nationwide team of 30, including 4 attorneys, 8 paralegals and CPA, MBA and CFO staff; that it has spent over $10 million developing its tax, legal and investing systems; and that more than 3,000 clients rely on it to protect over $2 billion in assets across all 50 states. Clients range from first-time investors to owners with broad portfolios.

Pricing is quoted through a "get a price" flow rather than published. The firm's marketing pages carry large projected tax-savings and growth figures attributed to individual clients; those are its own case studies, not an expected outcome. The site footer lists an address in Hurricane, Utah.

Common questions

How does the anonymity structure work?
Anonymity comes from an anonymous trust that can own the LLC itself and also serve as the title holding trust for the property. The trust is the member listed on the state filing, and because the trust document is private and never filed with the state, anyone researching the owner or beneficiary cannot find that information in the public records.
Do I still need insurance if I have an asset protection structure?
Yes. The firm's position is to always carry insurance. Insurance disposes of nuisance lawsuits such as a slip and fall on the front porch, while the company structure is there to protect against the large lawsuits that would wipe an investor out. The two are meant to work together, not as alternatives.
Where will tax documents for my property be sent?
Tax documents go to the address of the grantee on the deed. Where the attorney's address is listed as the address of the trust, the firm tells clients to contact the county tax assessor's office and update the address to their own so that they receive the tax bills directly.
