Royal American Management

Royal American Management (RAM) is the property management arm of Royal American Companies, a vertically integrated group that develops, builds and manages multifamily communities. RAM offers full-scope management for conventional and affordable multifamily and single-family housing rental communities.

Its clients include housing authorities and other government entities, non-profit groups, private developers large and small, cooperatives, receiverships, and real estate investment companies and syndicators. RAM also runs a vendor compliance program through an affiliated company, Chapman Associates, which screens vendor credentials, references and insurance certificates. Approved vendors must carry general liability with a minimum combined limit of $500,000, auto liability with a minimum combined limit of $100,000, workers' compensation at statutory limits or proof of exemption, a signed and notarized vendor agreement, business and speciality licences, and an annual processing fee.

RAM says it has over 300 properties in its portfolio and manages throughout the Southeast and Colorado. The wider group reports over fifty years of building multifamily, mixed-use and commercial projects, including more than 140 multi-family communities, and its commercial division covers office, retail, condominium and hospitality property in Northwest Florida. Regional offices are in Kennesaw, Georgia and in Orlando and Miami, Florida; the corporate office is in Panama City.

Management fees are not published. New business goes through a dedicated email address and the Panama City office line, which also publishes a toll-free number and TDD relay. Owners should confirm which regional office would cover their asset.
