RI Marketplace (RealINSIGHT Marketplace)

RI Marketplace runs timed online auctions for commercial real estate and loan sales. It replaces an open-ended listing period with a national, time-boxed sale cycle aimed at institutional sellers, lenders, servicing teams, and brokers.

Assets on the platform span value-add apartments, freestanding and net-lease retail, hotels, big-box space, and development land, offered as starting-bid auctions, absolute auctions, and listings. Auction events run on a published calendar with dated bidding windows, and each asset gets targeted marketing intended to bring registered buyers into that window.

The company says it was built in 2017 to handle an internal portfolio and then scaled to third-party sellers. It reports more than $10 billion in transaction volume facilitated and a network of more than 100,000 qualified buyers, with an average of 34.5 newly registered users and 17 registered bidders per asset, a 76% trade rate, and an average of 28 days from auction to close. Deal teams draw on underwriting and data technology from its sister company, RealINSIGHT.

RI Marketplace lists offices in Washington, DC, Irving, Texas, and New York, and a single support line and email for auction questions. Fees are not published; ask what the platform fee is and what sold subject to means for a specific lot before bidding.

Best for

Lenders, special servicers, and owners who need a national, time-boxed disposition for a commercial asset or loan, and buyers willing to qualify and bid on a fixed timetable. Not for a quiet off-market process or for residential retail sales.
