Property data

Reonomy (Altus Group)

Reonomy is a commercial real estate data platform, part of Altus Group, built around property records and the ownership behind them. It is sold to brokers and leasing teams, investors and acquisition teams, lenders and debt brokers, developers, appraisers, and commercial service providers who need to source off-market deals or reach owners directly.

Machine learning is used to match fragmented public records, ownership filings, and transaction data into one record per property, and to unwind LLCs, holding companies, and trust structures back to the people behind them, with phone, email, and mailing contacts ranked by reliability. Properties can be filtered by location, asset type, size, ownership tenure, debt, and more than 200 other criteria, and records carry square footage, asset class, year built, lot size, full transaction history including sales, debt, liens, and refinances, occupant data, and ownership portfolios across multiple parcels.

There are three delivery routes. The web app is sold on a subscription with unlimited searches and export packs. Bulk data feeds deliver a customized CSV, typically for organizations taking 10,000 or more records, on whatever cadence suits them. An API returns up to 1 million properties in a single request and runs off a data pipeline refreshed weekly. Data solutions beyond the web app are sold to enterprise customers only.

The site states the database covers 53 million commercial properties, 68 million property transactions, 5.2 million companies, and 30 million owner and contact records, built on direct integrations with 3,100 county assessors, Secretary of State filings, and census data, plus partnerships with Cotality and ICE. Web app subscriptions start at $400 a month on an annual plan, with 1,000 monthly exports included and pricing structured per seat; bulk feed and API pricing is quoted. Reonomy was acquired by Altus Group in November 2021.

Common questions

How much does Reonomy cost?
Web app access starts at $400 a month on an annual subscription, and the company says annual billing saves 30% against paying monthly. Bulk data feed and API pricing is quoted by the sales team.
Is pricing based on seats or on usage?
Per seat. Reonomy says pricing is typically structured on a per-user model, with each user getting full access to the platform's data and functionality and no usage restrictions.
How does Reonomy find the owner behind an LLC?
Machine learning links public records, ownership filings, and transaction data to unwind shell entities, holding companies, and trust structures, then surfaces phone, email, and mailing contacts for the real owner, ranked by reliability.
Can Reonomy data be delivered into other systems?
Yes, for enterprise customers. Options are a scheduled bulk CSV feed, typically for 10,000 or more records at a custom cadence, and an API that returns up to 1 million properties in a single request, running off a weekly data pipeline.
