Rent.
Rent. is a consumer rental search site operated by Rent Group, LLC, where renters look for apartments, houses, condos, and townhomes by city and contact properties directly. It sits alongside ApartmentGuide.com and Redfin.com in what the company calls the Rent Network, and it publishes renter-facing tools including a rent budget calculator and a rental price estimator.
The advertising side has changed. As of June 15, 2025, Zillow became the sole provider of multifamily listings, defined as buildings of 25 or more units, across Rent.com, ApartmentGuide.com, and Redfin.com, and all existing Rent. Network listings were cancelled at that time. Advertising a community of 25 or more units on those sites now requires a direct advertising contract with Zillow.
On the same date Rent. discontinued its own services and products, including the Digital Marketing Solutions line, RentSearch., RentSocial., RentTarget., RentRep., RentEngage., and Property Sites. The RentHQ reporting portal became inaccessible along with its historical performance data, and images and other information can no longer be requested from an old ILS listing. Single-family rentals and properties with fewer than 25 units can still be posted free through Redfin Rental Tools, which collects leads and applications through TurboTenant.
Outstanding invoices are paid through the pay.rent.com portal, with billing questions going to the billing address published on the site. The site also states plainly that Rent Group is not a real estate broker, mortgage broker, or lender and does not take part in lease transactions or money transfers, and it publishes a rental scam guide with a number for reporting fraudulent listings.
Best for
Owners of communities with 25 or more units who want exposure on Rent.com, ApartmentGuide, and Redfin and are prepared to buy it through a Zillow contract. Smaller landlords can list free through Redfin Rental Tools.

Common questions
- Can a multifamily property still be listed on Rent.?
- Yes, but only through Zillow. Since June 15, 2025, Zillow has been the sole provider of listings for properties with 25 or more units on Rent.com, ApartmentGuide.com, and Redfin.com, so a direct advertising contract with Zillow is required.
- How can a property with fewer than 25 units be listed?
- Through Redfin Rental Tools, which is free. It posts single-family and sub-25-unit rental listings and collects leads and applications via TurboTenant.
- Is historical RentHQ reporting data still available?
- No. RentHQ has been inaccessible since June 15, 2025, and that includes any historical performance data held in it.
