Property data

Regrid

Regrid maintains a standardized land parcel dataset covering the United States, Canada, and a growing set of European countries. Parcel boundaries are enriched with ownership details, zoning records, matched building footprints, secondary addresses, and demographic context, all mapped to one schema so the same fields behave the same way in every county.

The same data is sold several ways. Enterprise file delivery handles recurring bulk deliveries in flexible formats. A self-serve Data Store sells parcel files by county or state for immediate download. A parcel and tiles API, with an MCP server for AI workflows, plugs the data into applications and pipelines. An Esri Feature Service streams parcel geometry and attributes into ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online through a token URL, with ArcPy toolboxes for high-volume county work, and the Regrid Property App handles lookup, saved places, notes, and photos on desktop and mobile.

Regrid was founded in 2009 in Detroit, where it began by helping residents use parcel data against vacancy, blight, and foreclosure. It says it assembled complete parcel coverage of the United States in 2023, became Esri's commercial partner for parcel data in 2024, and added more than 20 European countries in 2026. The international data is geometry-first and omits owner names, which the company says keeps it outside GDPR scope. Programs called Data with Purpose and Regrid Giving supply data to nonprofit, academic, conservation, and research users.

Coverage quality varies by county, and Regrid publishes a US coverage map with parcel counts, refresh dates, and field-by-field completeness; that map is the thing to check before buying a market. Enterprise delivery and API pricing is quoted through its sales team rather than published.

Best for

Land investors, GIS teams, and enterprise groups that need parcel boundaries and ownership attributes across many counties at once. Less useful for someone who only needs a handful of parcels, which the free Property App already covers.
