PWS Laundry now trades as Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution. The business was established in 1968 as PWS – The Laundry Company by three coin laundry entrepreneurs, acquired the northern California and Nevada Speed Queen distributorships in 1973, combined with Alliance Laundry Systems in 2021, and changed its name in 2023; the West region distribution business was established in March 2023.

On the equipment side it sells Speed Queen commercial washers and dryers from single-load to 175-pound capacity for laundromats, multi-housing laundry rooms, and on-premises laundries, with equipment sales, financing, and leasing. A separate remodelling, design, and laundromat construction service walks owners through financing, demographics analysis, site selection, store layout and design, technology, and marketing.

Parts and supplies are the core of the online business. The company describes itself as the largest distributor of commercial laundry replacement parts in the country, with over 150,000 parts online, over $1.5 million in parts inventory, same-day shipping on most items, and over 100,000 manuals and diagrams. Brands stocked include Speed Queen, UniMac, American Dryer, Dexter, Maytag, Whirlpool, Wascomat, IPSO, Greenwald, Cissell, Milnor, Rowe, and ESD, alongside carts, hampers, detergents, coin boxes, and coin slides. Parts support runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 5:00pm PT, on 800-800-4797, and the parts fulfilment centre and will-call pickup are at 9435 Firestone Bl, Downey, California.

The PWS name has been retired, so orders, warranty claims, and equipment service now run under Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution, and equipment sales are handled separately from the parts site. Confirm which entity you are contracting with before placing an equipment order.
