Paylocity sells a cloud human capital management platform that puts payroll and tax filing, HR administration, time and attendance, talent, compliance, expense and spend management, and IT access management on one system.

Packages are organised by company size. Smaller employers start with payroll plus employee self-service and can step up to bundles adding time and attendance with payroll-to-general-ledger reporting, then talent, compliance management with E-Verify, and expense. Organizations with 1-50 employees are eligible for the Small Business Grow tiers.

For employers that do not want to run the work in-house, Elevate Solutions has Paylocity staff handle implementation setup and data validation, day-to-day payroll operations, and HR administration such as data audits, compliance guidance, and policy development. The client stays the employer of record and keeps the decisions.

Paylocity holds annual SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II attestations and ISO 27001:2022 certification. Per-employee pricing is not published, so a quote comes out of a demo; ask which modules are in the base tier and which are add-ons before comparing it to another bid.
