Palm Harbor Homes

Palm Harbor Homes has built and sold manufactured, mobile, and modular homes since 1977 and is now a member of the Cavco family of brands. Homes are sold through company-owned model centers and through independent retailers that carry the line.

Buying starts at a model center, where staff walk through floor plans and options. Palm Harbor is not a lender, but it maintains a list of licensed lenders that specialise in manufactured and modular home financing, and it places homeowner coverage through Standard Casualty at the same location.

Homes are sold with a 12 year warranty through company-owned superstores in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas. The wider group also builds under the Nationwide Custom Homes and PHN Commercial Structures names, and its Anthem product is a HUD-approved manufactured duplex offered in two- and three-bedroom versions for developers and municipalities adding density.

Some former Palm Harbor plants now trade under the Cavco name, including the Plant City, Florida operation. Confirm with the model center which plant will build the home and which brand the warranty is written under.
