NotaryCam

NotaryCam provides remote online notarization (RON) and electronic signing. A signer uploads a document, verifies their identity, and connects with a commissioned notary over a secure video session, so documents are signed and sealed without an in-person meeting or mailing.

There are three ways to buy. Full-service notarization uses NotaryCam's own staff notaries; software licensing is sold to independent notaries who schedule and run their own sessions; and enterprise software licensing plus contract notary services let a company run notarization inside its own workflow. The on-demand service runs 24/7 with same-day appointments, monthly invoicing or per-transaction billing, and no monthly minimums.

Identity verification includes ID upload, knowledge-based authentication and two-factor authentication. Every session includes video recording and notary journal retention for a minimum of 10 years. The company cites SOC 2 compliance, MISMO certification and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, says its service reaches 50 states and 145 countries, and says it is backed by Stewart Title. Industries served include real estate, legal, healthcare, financial services, insurance, automobile, credit cards and fintech.

Independent notary pricing is published: a $99 onboarding fee, a $15 monthly licensing fee for one seat, $15 per seal per transaction up to three seals, a $5 minimum transaction fee per signer, $5 for additional ID proofing, and a $52.50 maximum fee per transaction, on a 12-month contract. Enterprise licensing and contract notary pricing are quoted. The sales line is (800) 931-7423.

Common questions

Which states allow remote online notarization?
As of April 2025, 45 U.S. states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws permitting Remote Online Notarization, allowing notaries to perform notarizations via secure audio-visual technology. Requirements and approved platforms vary by state, and many states mandate approved technology and proper registration.
How does an online notarization work?
Upload the document, verify identity through ID upload, knowledge-based authentication and two-factor authentication, then connect with a licensed notary over secure video. The notary witnesses the signature and applies the seal in a real-time session, and the session is recorded.
How long are notarization records kept?
Every session includes video recording and notary journal retention for a minimum of 10 years. NotaryCam applies that retention to both its full-service notary work and its independent notary software plan.
What does the independent notary plan cost?
A $99 onboarding fee and a $15 monthly licensing fee covering one seat, then $15 per seal per transaction for up to three seals, a $5 minimum transaction fee per signer and $5 for additional ID proofing, with a $52.50 maximum fee per transaction. There is no minimum monthly usage, and the contract runs 12 months.
