Nebraska Manufactured Housing Association

The Nebraska Manufactured Housing Association is the state trade organization that represents the manufactured housing industry in Nebraska. Its stated objective is to promote the industry and the use of manufactured housing to consumers, developers, the media and public officials, so that more people can reach affordable home ownership.

The association runs directories that buyers and members can search: a member company search, a directory of financial institutions and insurers, and a directory of service members. Members also get a members-only news and updates section, and the public site carries consumer material on how manufactured and modular homes are built, along with a video library.

On the legislative side, the association says it was instrumental in passing LB511, the bill that expanded placement opportunities for manufactured housing in Nebraska jurisdictions, and it passes national industry alerts on to members.

The association works from Lincoln Mall in Lincoln. Membership benefits and dues run through its become-a-member page rather than a published fee schedule, so call or email for the current terms and the application.

Best for

Nebraska community owners, retailers, installers and lenders who want the state association's directories, member alerts and legislative voice. Not a source of legal advice or licensing decisions for an individual park.
