Modern Campground

Modern Campground is an online news publication for the outdoor hospitality industry, written for RV park owners, campground owners, glamping resort owners, their teams, and industry suppliers. It was created in 2021 as a dedicated news source for the sector.

Coverage is curated campground, RV park, and glamping news sorted into sections based mainly on location, and it is not limited to the United States: stories run on Canadian provincial parks, UK holiday and caravan parks, and resorts further afield. Alongside the news it publishes original articles by its own team and by columnists from the industry, including operator interviews and features on how parks are run and expanded.

The publication also runs MC Fireside Chats, a recurring panel series with a rotating cast of industry regulars - operators, suppliers, consultants, and advisors - plus special guests on topics such as insurance and risk management for unusual amenities. There are email newsletters, an industry event calendar, and a channel for operators and suppliers to send press releases for publication.
