Matterport

Matterport is a 3D capture platform. Its cameras and app scan a physical space and produce a digital twin — a tour a viewer can walk through — together with schematic floor plans and print-quality photographs pulled from the same scan.

In property sales the pitch is buyer and seller confidence: a remote buyer can tour the whole property before visiting, which the company positions as a way to close faster. For corporate real estate the same scans become a visual record of an entire portfolio, used for space planning, asset documentation, capital project execution and filling vacancies.

Construction and operations teams use it differently. Matterport integrates with Procore and Autodesk so job-site scans feed the tools a project team already uses, reducing site visits across the phases of a job, and it supports incorporating real-time AWS data into facility operations.

Matterport is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California and sells direct, with a choice of capture devices and plan tiers. Sales and support lines are staffed across North America, EMEA and APAC, and plans can be bought online or through the sales team. Confirm which camera and which plan tier a given use needs before buying hardware.
