Manufactured Housing Communities of Washington
Manufactured Housing Communities of Washington (MHCW) is a non-profit statewide association representing the owners and managers of manufactured housing communities in Washington State.
Its stated mission is to build a favorable environment and bring together resources for the future success of manufactured housing communities through government relations, industry education, dissemination of information, and public education. MHCW represents member interests before local, state, and federal agencies through legislative, legal, and agency programs.
The association runs training events and a fall education series, holds an annual conference with exhibitors and sponsors, and maintains a legal defense fund and a political action committee that members can contribute to. Member accounts on the site are used for legislative updates, viewing and paying dues, setting up monthly PAC donations, and registering for training events.
All membership applications must be approved by the board of directors; the board and executive committee are made up of volunteers. The association office is listed at Baker Way Northwest in Gig Harbor, Washington, and a help desk form is monitored on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
