Manhard Consulting is a full-service civil engineering and surveying firm serving public and private clients nationwide, headquartered in Lombard, Illinois. Its markets include residential, industrial and business, retail and mixed-use, data centers and mission critical facilities, educational facilities, recreational and sports facilities, government and municipal work, and oil and gas.

Civil engineering runs from site investigation, due diligence and feasibility studies through entitlement, preliminary and final engineering, regulatory permitting and construction management. The work covers earthwork and site grading, drainage and flood control, stormwater detention and collection, sewage collection and treatment, water supply, storage and distribution, street, intersection and roundabout design, traffic studies and signal design, bicycle and multi-use pathways, railroad and intermodal facility engineering, and small dams and bridges. Surveying and geospatial services include boundary and ALTA surveys, topographic, roadway and wetland surveys, subdivision plats, construction staking, land title and land acquisition surveys, and oil and gas facility surveys, using drones, high definition 3D scanning, GNSS and robotic total stations.

The water resources team handles master watershed planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater infrastructure design and master planning, FEMA flood insurance studies, dam break modeling and breach zone mapping, aquifer characterization and water supply studies, erosion and sediment control, stream restoration, wetland delineation, creation and mitigation, and USACE permitting. Other service lines cover landscape architecture, geographic information systems, municipal and special district services, and construction management.

The firm traces its roots to 1972 and was established under the Manhard Consulting name in 1992.
