LendingWise

LendingWise is a web-based platform that combines CRM, loan origination, servicing and a capital marketplace for private, hard money and commercial lenders and the brokers who originate for them. It is deployed white-labeled under the client's own brand and URL.

At the core is a configurable point-of-sale application that intakes a custom loan application and automates document collection and workflow steps. From there the platform covers underwriting workflow, a deal room for sharing a loan file with capital providers while controlling what data and documents are shared, servicing with payment management across accrual types and custom waterfalls, rehab budget templates and draw management line by line, and borrower and investor portals where borrowers manage payments, draws and payoffs and investors track loans, ROI and reporting. A marketplace matches loans against 60+ lenders and note buyers for bridge, fix and flip, construction, DSCR, CRE, SBA, MCA and equipment programs, and native integrations, webhooks and an open API connect the rest of the stack.

The company traces its origin to 2006 under The Loan Post brand, a marketplace it says connected 2000+ brokers to 400+ wholesale lenders; after the 2008 financial crisis it moved into loan modification, short sale and nonperforming note work, and says the platform has processed more than 2 million loans from 1200+ companies. LendingWise itself launched in 2017 for commercial private money lenders and brokers, and the site says it is used by 300+ companies. It runs entirely on AWS, is aligned with SOC 2 and PCI, and says it works with institutions under SOC 2 and ISO 27001 vendor requirements.

Plan prices are not published. The company says contracts are month-to-month with quarterly or annual options at a discount, that the platform deploys quickly out of the box but advanced lender configuration takes several weeks of training, and that custom requirements run a two to four week turnaround. There is no mobile app; key pages are mobile responsive instead.

Common questions

How long does it take to set up the CRM and LOS?
The platform deploys out of the box and basic training takes days. LendingWise says the detailed configuration that private or institutional lenders usually need can take several weeks, and unique customisation runs a two to four week turnaround depending on complexity.
Can data be migrated from another loan origination system?
Yes. LendingWise says it has migrated data from all major systems, including file attachments, but that the outcome depends on the integrity of the source data and that format and accuracy need careful handling.
Can the platform be white labeled?
Two options are offered. An enterprise white label runs the application on the client's own domain and removes the LendingWise logo from web forms, with email sent under the client's domain. A lite option covers only the email and logo removal.
Is an annual contract required?
No. The company says it offers month-to-month contracts, with quarterly or annual terms available at discounted pricing.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. LendingWise says the most important pages of the application are mobile responsive for borrowers, brokers and other parties, but there is no dedicated mobile app.
