Legacy Housing Corporation

Legacy Housing Corporation builds manufactured and modular homes, tiny homes and park models, and sells them through independent retailers, company-owned stores and mobile home community owners. The company was established in 2005 and concentrates its operations in the southwest and southeast of the United States.

Product lines run from single-section homes through double-section, 14-wide and Ultra 18-wide models, with more than 40 doublewide floor plans, one to five bedrooms and homes up to 2,600 square feet. Tiny houses range from 320 to 399 square feet with one to three bedrooms and an optional covered porch. A park and community housing division supplies homes to mobile home parks and land-lease communities, and the company also runs a workforce housing division and sells wide sheds and moulding and lamination services.

Manufacturing is at three plants, in Fort Worth and Commerce, Texas and Eatonton, Georgia, which the company describes as ranging from about 97,000 square feet to over 385,000 square feet. It reports a presence in more than 100 retailers across seventeen states, and publishes regional dealer contacts for the Central and Southeast regions. Financing arranged through Legacy is serviced by Federal Investors.

Homes are bought through a dealer rather than from the plant, so the price, delivery timing and set-up terms come from the retailer. The site is inconsistent on the size of the floor plan library, saying more than 40 doublewide plans in one place and more than 80 plans in another, and its FAQ page is currently broken, so the contact page carries the working answers.
