Landpoint

Landpoint is a land surveying, aerial data and geospatial firm working mainly on energy and infrastructure projects. Its service lines cover electric transmission, distribution and substations; oil, gas and pipeline work; and civil and commercial development, with surveying, aerial data collection, 3D laser scanning and geographic information systems delivered by the same firm.

Surveying work includes ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, boundary and title surveys, topographic and design surveys, geodetic control, construction layout planning, right-of-way and land acquisition support, as-built inspection and reporting, utility locating and mapping, depth of cover surveys, subdivision design, and wetlands delineation.

Aerial services use both manned and unmanned aircraft flown by certified UAS operators, with lidar and photogrammetry producing survey-grade datasets, plus cloud-based maps and dynamic reporting for tracking changing project conditions. The firm also runs online mapping platforms and its own TrueAtlas technology for delivering data, and cites more than 40 years of archived survey data. Safety programs, protocols and statistics are a stated part of how it works on hazardous sites.
