Illinois Manufactured Housing Association

The Illinois Manufactured Housing Association (IMHA) represents and promotes every segment of the factory-built housing industry in Illinois through advocacy, education, industry connection and member support. Its statewide network covers manufacturers, retailers, community owners, suppliers, installers, lenders, inspectors, service providers and other manufactured housing professionals.

Membership is pitched on protecting members' income and investment, promoting the value and image of the industry, advocacy in Springfield, networking, educational resources and industry updates, and support for growing a member business. The association publishes a member directory, a board of directors, a code of ethics and an events calendar, and members can log in to update their listings and register for events.

The site also carries a homeowner and buyer track: how factory-built homes are constructed, myths about manufactured housing, spring maintenance and winterisation checklists, preparing a manufactured home for high wind events, earthquake preparedness for Illinois residents, and Illinois privilege tax information. Its news feed mixes public policy updates, member spotlights and clearly labelled paid advertisements.

The association is reached at a Springfield PO box and a single phone line. Dues and membership tiers are not published, and joining runs through a form on the site. The crawled pages do not cover Illinois installer licensing or landlord-tenant statute, so ask whether the association provides that guidance to members.
