Illinois Campground Association

The Illinois Campground Association (ICA) is a state association of private campgrounds and RV parks. It describes itself as dedicated to educating its members, promoting their campgrounds and supporting members and their guests in order to improve family camping throughout Illinois.

For campground owners, membership is sold on professional support, resources and marketing. The association publishes a campground directory organised by region with locations and links to member websites, produces the Illinois Camping Magazine as a printed guide that campers can request free or read digitally, and sells advertising in the 2027 edition. It also runs conferences and meetings for members, and offers a separate Trade Member category so suppliers can market products and services to campground owners and managers.

Officers and directors are owners of member campgrounds around the state, and the association also runs a scholarship programme. Day-to-day administration is handled from an address c/o Merchantry Tourism in Pittsford, New York, with a New York phone number and a director of client services and marketing on staff.
