Fieldwire is a jobsite management app from Hilti used by owners, general contractors, specialty contractors, architects and engineers to share drawings, assign tasks, run punch lists and inspections, and report from the field on mobile devices or desktop.
Work is organized around tasks: assigning one to a team member or another contractor notifies them by push notification and email, with messages kept against the task. Imported drawing sets automatically supersede older versions, previous versions stay accessible through an overlay comparison, and detail callouts, page names and links are generated on import. Plans and documents stay available offline, and markups, photos and as-builts are archived so an operations team can see how a building was actually built. Reports and progress updates can be generated automatically for handover.
Fieldwire says it powers more than 4,000,000 commercial, industrial, heavy-civil and residential projects worldwide. It has served the North American market since 2013 from its headquarters in downtown San Francisco, California, and opened a Paris office in 2017 as European work became a focus.
