Datacomp is a manufactured housing valuation and data company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It provides manufactured and mobile home appraisals, field inspections, and market data to homeowners, community owners and managers, developers, investors, lenders, appraisers, brokers and agents, homeowner associations, and government bodies.

Appraisal work covers pre-owned and new home market-based appraisals, lender and pre-sale MSRV reports, and portfolio valuations of the homes held within a community. A pre-owned appraisal starts with photographs, measurements, and a detailed description gathered in the field, which in-house appraisers value against the company's sales database before issuing a twelve-page written report covering the home, its options and accessories, community data, interior and exterior photos, comparable sales, and the fair market value conclusion. At a lender's request Datacomp will also calculate NADA book value and use it as the cost-approach figure inside a market-based appraisal.

Inspection services include post-site inspections, community inspections that assign a one-to-five-star rating, and a nationwide inspection network. On the data side, Datacomp publishes the JLT Market Reports, which track rent, adjusted rent comparable from year to year, and occupancy for more than 40,000 communities in better than 150 primary markets across the continental United States, alongside sector data and trends and community lists and attributes.

Datacomp Appraisal Services was founded in Grand Rapids in 1987. It reports a proprietary database of more than 5 million new and pre-owned manufactured housing sales records and a network of more than 700 field inspectors, and it also operates MHVillage.com.
