Colorado Campground and Lodging Owners Association
The Colorado Campground and Lodging Owners Association is a trade association for businesses that operate outdoor lodging in Colorado: campgrounds, RV parks, resorts, glamping operations and cabins. Membership is open to any for-profit outdoor lodging business registered with the State of Colorado, regardless of property size, number of sites or length of stay, and includes properties still under construction as well as ones held by the same family for generations.
The association was created by campground owners for campground owners and is guided by a board of directors drawn from outdoor lodging members around the state; its executive director is a former RV park owner. Programs are member-driven and are reviewed and modified annually. CCLOA is now part of the Rivers and Rockies Outdoor Lodging Coalition, through which members gain additional benefit programs, including music and movie licenses and cost-saving arrangements covering propane, office supplies and fuel.
CCLOA is the name used for industry, tourism and legislative work. Camp Colorado is the separate consumer-facing brand the association uses to market camping, glamping, RVing and cabins to travelers at CampColorado.com. The association works with the Colorado Tourism Office on marketing and is a partner in the Care For Colorado Coalition, the state's Leave No Trace effort.
Membership applications are made through the Rivers and Rockies Outdoor Lodging Coalition website rather than CCLOA's own site, and dues are not published, so a prospective member should contact the association directly for current rates and the full benefit list.
