Biz2Credit
Biz2Credit is a fintech company that helps small businesses get funding. Founded in 2007 and based at 1 Penn Plaza in New York, it says it has been trusted by over 200,000 small businesses, and its platform matches a business to funding options based on its profile after an online application that takes a few minutes.
Biz2Credit states that it is not itself a lender. Revenue-based financing is provided through Itria Ventures LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary. Term loans are funded by Itria Ventures or by Cross River Bank, a New Jersey state chartered, FDIC insured partner bank. Neither Biz2Credit nor Itria Ventures currently offers or issues SBA loans directly; participating lender banks issue them using Biz2Credit's technology, and Biz2Credit may assist clients in applying through those lenders.
Fixed-rate term loans and revenue-based financing both run from $25K to $2M+, with term loans requiring a FICO score of 650 and $100,000 in revenue. A line of credit goes up to $500K with interest charged only on the amount drawn, and it is not available in all states. Commercial real estate loans, working capital, and embedded finance are also listed. Decisions are advertised as fast as 24 hours. In revenue-based financing, Biz2Credit purchases future business receipts at a discount and is repaid from an agreed percentage of those receipts only, with a right of true-up and reconciliation.
A CPA Business Funding Portal gives accounting firms a route to financing for their clients, and Biz2X licenses the underlying platform to financial institutions running their own lending. Biz2Credit names Paychex and Experian among its partners, and says Itria Ventures was the #7 lender in the Paycheck Protection Program in 2021. Rates and fees are not published, and the site quotes two different lifetime financing totals and two different phone support windows, so verify both before relying on them.
Best for
Small businesses needing $25K to $2M+ quickly that can show a 650 FICO score and $100,000 in revenue for a term loan. Not a fit for borrowers who want a bank relationship or published rates, since Biz2Credit is not itself the lender and publishes no pricing.
