Avison Young is a commercial real estate advisory firm working with occupiers, owners and investors, and the public sector. It was founded in 1978 and runs a principal-led model, with account teams that stay directly accountable for the client relationship rather than handing work between silos.

Services split between occupier and owner work. For owners and investors it offers investment sales and acquisitions, debt and equity finance, investment and asset management, investor project management, property and retail management, and valuation and advisory. For occupiers it offers tenant representation, transaction management, occupier project management, occupier valuation and advisory, and consulting covering workplace intelligence, location strategy, labor analytics, economic development incentives, supply chain and distribution, portfolio optimization, and relocation management. Studio Project Services adds workplace design and integrated construction delivery.

The firm reports nearly 4,500 professionals in 18 countries and over 100 offices, and says it manages over 316 million square feet of real estate globally. Its Occupier Services team is more than 225 specialists. It has held Canada's Best Managed Companies Platinum Club designation for 15 consecutive years.
