Asset Preservation, Inc. (API) is a national qualified intermediary founded in 1990 and a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corporation, a publicly traded title insurance company. It handles delayed, reverse, and improvement exchanges and states it has completed more than 200,000 exchanges.

Exchange funds are held in non-commingled accounts, and the company carries a fidelity bond and errors-and-omissions coverage, with a written performance assurance from its parent. Fees are not published.
