Apex Companies is a consulting and engineering firm working across water, environmental, infrastructure, and health and safety services. Real estate and financial services is one of the industries it serves, alongside aerospace and aviation, industrial and manufacturing, and transportation and logistics.

The work spans due diligence and multi-media environmental assessments, permitting and compliance, remediation, indoor air quality and health and safety support, sustainability and ESG consulting, water resource management, construction management, expert witness and litigation support, and land planning. Clients reach project data through the ARTEMIS client portal, and the firm runs its own health and safety training.

Apex was established in 1988, operates in all 50 states, and staffs scientists, geologists, engineers, technicians and information management specialists.
