Allvue Systems sells cloud-based software for private capital managers, covering fund accounting, portfolio monitoring, investor reporting, and investor portals. Its stated customers are private equity and venture capital managers, private credit and CLO managers, and fund administrators servicing private capital clients.

The platform is licensed as modules: investment accounting, corporate accounting, carry, co-invest and compensation, portfolio monitoring, credit research, trade order management, portfolio intelligence, and the Nexius data platform. A services organization handles implementation, consulting, and managed services, with same-day support SLAs on both the standard and premium tiers and access to support engineers 24 hours a day, five days a week.

Allvue reports more than 21,000 funds and over $8.5 trillion in assets tracked on its platforms, and more than 500 clients globally. It was formed after Vista Equity Partners acquired AltaReturn and merged it with Black Mountain, a business its own timeline dates to 2007. It is headquartered in Miami, Florida, with U.S. offices in Coral Gables, New York, San Diego, and Fairfax, and further offices in London, Krakow, and Pune.
