Alabama Manufactured Housing Association
The Alabama Manufactured Housing Association (AMHA) is the state trade association for manufactured and modular housing in Alabama. Its members include manufacturers, retailers, community owners and developers, installers, finance companies, insurers, and service suppliers.
The association's core work is legislative and regulatory. It retains a professional lobbying firm and a staff lobbyist, and represents the industry to the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission, the state legislature, and other government agencies. For a park owner, that is where state-specific changes to installer licensing, titling, and landlord-tenant statute surface first.
AMHA also runs member events, including an annual convention and participation in the Biloxi Manufactured Housing Show & Expo, publishes industry news, and maintains public search tools that let buyers find member retailers and member communities by map. It is a non-profit organization and has represented the industry since 1968.
Membership is by application with annual dues paid by check; the dues schedule is not published on the site. The association's office is in Montgomery.
Best for
Alabama community owners, retailers, and installers who need state statute, licensing, and titling changes tracked, plus access to the state convention and member directories. It does not sell services to owners outside Alabama.
